How to read the diagram

The building icon marks a splitter or merger (hover for its name); a small chevron on the belt shows which way it fans – right out of a splitter, left into a merger – and the belt colour shows its tier. Every splitter and merger has three stacked ports per side, drawn as short ticks on its plate, and each belt attaches to its own – so a fan-out reads as a fan-out. Where two belts merely cross, the vertical one hops over the other with a small arc; a belt that really does branch has no arc. A dashed orange edge is a loopback and a red belt is overloaded. The grid is 1 m fine with a 6 m foundation spacing.

Every input and output box has its own rate field, right in the diagram – type a value, or leave it on auto and the plan splits evenly. Use the dashed "+" below each side to add a port, and the "×" on a port to remove it.
