What's new
A busy day. Four features went live.
Logistics in the Planner. Splitters, mergers, priority mergers, smart splitters and programmable splitters are now real nodes you can wire up, with rules, an order and a belt tier of their own. The Planner understands them: what goes in comes out, an even split stays even unless you say otherwise, and a priority merger really does prefer its first input. Machines got a Somersloop stepper — put slots in, get more output and a steeper power draw, exactly as in the game — and each world now has a Build cost section that adds up every building and every Somersloop you have installed, filterable by tag and copyable as text.
The Load balancer inside the Planner. Besides the standalone tool there is now a Load balancer node you can drop into a plan with up to 16 inputs and 16 outputs, and a "Balance belts" tab on machine, station and generator dialogs that starts from your last calculation.
Comments. You can pin a comment anywhere on the Map or in the Planner, reply to it, resolve it, reopen it and like it. Mentioning someone with @ notifies them by e-mail, and an overview tab collects every thread in the world with filters, sorting and a jump-to button.
Savegames and sharing. Upload a .sav to a world and you get a summary and a resource
occupancy view; a small editor can change four scalar values and hand the file back byte-for-byte
identical apart from your edit. And any single factory can be shared with a revocable view link —
one factory, read-only, no account needed on the other end, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Why we changed it
Comments only work on private worlds for now. A public world is visible to strangers, and a pinned note is a very easy thing to abuse; we would rather add moderation before we open that door than after.
The savegame editor is deliberately narrow. Anything that rewrites structure risks handing you a save the game refuses to load. Four scalar values we can guarantee — and we check the round trip is byte-identical before we let you download it.
