Grass Fields is the flattest and safest start. Right next to the landing points lie three normal iron nodes about 50 m apart, a normal copper node 200 m east and a normal limestone node 300 m south – everything a Tier 0–2 base needs, and every node runs on a Mk.1 belt.

Nearby for later: a pure iron node with a normal copper node 600 m north-west (−961, 1638), pure limestone at (−801, 2047), and the impure limestone right at spawn (−625, 2280) for a first hand-fed constructor.
What it builds
| Product | /min | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 20 | HUB upgrades and every Tier 1–2 milestone (≈ 1 450 plates in total) | |
| 15 | milestones, screws and frames | |
| 40 | milestones, reinforced plates, rotors later | |
| 5 | Logistics Mk.2, Smart Plating, coal generators (20 each) | |
| 2 | Tier 3–4 buildings and the Space Elevator | |
| 60 | milestones, power poles, cable | |
| 15 | milestones, coal generators (30 each) | |
| 20 | foundations – you will never have enough |
The targets use 163 of the 180 iron ore, 45 of 60 copper ore and all 60 limestone, so the last iron smelter has room for another plate constructor once you need more plates.

About 25 machine-equivalents and 130 MW on average, plus 5 × 5 MW for the miners – that is five Biomass Burners at full load, so build the coal plant early. Underclock the last machine of each row instead of overclocking the chain; a manifold of splitters per row is all the logistics you need.
Layout tips
- One Mk.1 miner feeds exactly two smelters (60 → 2 × 30). Put the six iron smelters in a row fed by one belt that merges the three nodes, then three constructor rows (plates / rods / screws) behind them.
- Keep the copper line separate: 1 miner → 2 smelters → 3 wire constructors → 1 cable constructor on the merged wire output.
- Concrete: 1 miner → 2 constructors at 67 % each (or 1⅓ as the solver says) → storage.
- Coal is 1 km north-west at the northern lake (Grass Fields coal power); run a Mk.1 belt from the plant's spare coal or a power line only – the plant should sit at the water.
